Water levels at 10 rivers stations monitored by Flood Forecasting and Warning Centre (FFWC) have marked rise and 76 stations recorded fall and one is above danger level.
Among the 90 monitored river stations one registered steady, a bulletin of FFWC said on Saturday.
The Brahmaputra-Jamuna, the Padma and Surma-Kushiyara river are in falling trend while the Ganges is on the rise.
The Brahmaputra-Jamuna, the Padma and Surma-Kushiyara rivers may continue to fall in next 48 hours.
The Ganges river may likely to rise in next 24 hours.
Buriganga, Turag, Lakhya (Narayanganj) rivers around Dhaka City are in falling trend which may likely to continue in next 48 hours.
The overall Flood situation in the country may continue to improve in next 72 hours.
