Bangladesh is set to get its first certified distance race next month, in the form of the ‘CCCL RUNBANGLA International 10K’ AIMS, the Association of International Marathons and Distance Races, is pleased to welcome Bangladesh as a new country to its family of elite world races from 125 countries and territories. In joining AIMS, the ‘CCCL RUNBANGLA International 10K’ joins elite prestigious distance races from around the world including the Athens, Beijing, Berlin, Boston, Chicago, Comrades, New York, Paris & Tokyo Marathons. The race will be staged on March 13, 2020 in Dhaka, which has settled for a less grueling distance of 10 kilometres, less than a quarter of a marathon, in which athletes complete 42 kilometres.
