10 jailed for driving vehicles without licences

UNB, Dhaka :
Bangladesh Road Transport Authority (BRTA) in a mobile court drive in the city on Wednesday sentenced 10 drivers to one month’s simple imprisonment for driving vehicles without licences.
BRTA Executive Magistrate Md Mazharul Islam led the mobile court conducted in Mirpur-10,
Mirpur-1, Mirpur-2, Shyamoli and Manik Mia Avenue from 8:30 am till 4:30 pm.
During the drive, the mobile court also filed 24 cases and collected Tk 53,000 in fine for traffic rules violation, said Mazharul Islam.
