Mymensingh District Detective Branch (DB) in separate drives arrested seven gamblers and three drug dealers.50 grams of heroin and 35 pieces of yaba rescued on Sunday midnight.
The arrestees are – Gambler Nabi Hossain, 40, Mostafa, 30, Lal Mia, 40, Rahul (42), Aftab Uddin, 48, Khokan Mia, 32, Tofazzal, 35, and drug businessman Liton, 30. Mosharraf Hossain (42) and Mamun Mia (24) Mymensingh DB Officer-in-Charge Shah Kamal Akand said that the seven gamblers were arrested while raiding Sadar Suhilla area on Sunday midnight.
Besides, on Sunday night and Monday morning, the DB police arrested three more drug merchants from Tarakanda upazila’s Gaz Hare Pour, Mymensingh city’s Patgudam and Digharkkanda area. This information was revealed on Monday (July 8th) in a DB press release.
