Govt has nationalised the 10 colleges of Chatt ogram from August 8 last.
It was informed in a gazettee notifications about the nationalisation on Sunday, Secondary and Higher Education department sources said.
The colleges are – Chunati Mohila College,Lohagara, Sitakunda Women College, Anowara College, Hathazari College, Raozan college, Fatikchari College, Alowal College, Banskhali, Nizampur College, Mirsarai , Rangunia College, Ashekane Awala College in city .
Sources said the teachers and the employees of these newly nationalised colleges will be regularized with the govt service under Teacher and Employees Regularisation rules of 2018 through conducting examinations under Public Service commission.
