10 bodies found in five districts

Police recovered at least 10 dead bodies from five separate districts of the country on Friday and Saturday. Of them six were women’s dead bodies.
In Rajshahi, police recovered dead bodies of two women from Mohonpur upazila of the district on Saturday.
One of the victims was identified as Asma Begum, 40, wife of Babul Islam from the upazila’s Oshaer Hatra village. “There are signs in torture on her face and legs,” said Mostaque Ahmed, the Officer-in-Charge of Mohonpur Police Station.
“An empty packet of condom was found near the body. We suspect that Asma was hacked to death after rape,” the police officer said.
The body has been sent to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital for an autopsy.
Another dead body of woman was recovered by police from Durghapur village of the upazila on Saturday.
Her name was Anowara Begum, wife of one Md. Bulbullah.
In Dhaka (Ashulia), Police recovered at least three female dead bodies from Savar on Friday night and Saturday.
The deceased were identified as Rubi Akther,30, daughter of Sona Miah, a resident of Chandishar village of Dhamrai upazila, while Jannati ,19, from Badarganj upazila of Rangpur.
According to police, Rubi was found hanging from the wall of her room at Jirani Konapara Chiringa Pukurpar area of Ashulia. On information, police recovered the body from the spot and handed it over to the relatives.
Jannati was found unconscious in her bed. She was taken to a local hospital, but doctors declared her dead.
Police recovered another female dead body from Kotoria village under Ashulia of Savar on Saturday morning.
The deceased was identified as Sahida Akter, 22, wife of one Md. Shahinur from Tangail.
Emdad Hossain, Sub-Inspector of Ashulia Police Station confirmed the news to the media.
In Dhaka, police recovered a youth’s hanging dead body from Shajahanpur area of the city on Saturday.
The deceased was identified as Pantu, 24, inhabitant of Munshiganj district.
In Kishoreganj, Law enforcers recovered throat cut body of a couple from south Chandpur village in Kadirjungle union of the upazila on Friday night..
The couple were identified as Abu Bakkar, 26, a rickshaw driver by profession, and his wife Hima Akther, 23.
Kadirjungle Union Parishad (UP-6) member Kamruzzaman Chanchol confirmed the matter to media.
In Sirajganj, Police recovered the body of an auto-rickshaw driver in Kazipur upazila of Sirajganj district on Friday evening.
Deceased Farhad Ali, 20, son of one Tajem Mondal, hailed from Borobila village in Dhunat upazila of the district.
Goutam Chandra Mali, Inspector (investigation) of Kazipur Police Station said.
