10.39pc students pass at DU ‘Ka’ unit admission test

The results of ‘Ka’ unit admission test of Dhaka University for 2021-22 academic session has been published with 10.39 percent pass rate.
DU Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Md Akhtaruzzaman announced the results at Abdul Motin virtual classroom of the university at 12.30 pm on Monday.
A total of 1,10,374 candidates took part at the examination against 1,781 seats on June 10. Of them, only 11,866 students passed.
Asir Anjum Khan, student of Notre Dame College, got first position with 115 score out of 120. He stood first at BUET admission test also.
Khalid Hassan Tuhin, student of Notre Dame College, and Zarifa Tabassu, student of Joypurhat Girls Cadet College, obtained second and third places respectively.
The “Ka” unit examination was held under five institutes and five faculties, including faculty of Science, Biological Sciences, Pharmacy, Earth and Environmental Sciences, and Engineering and Technology. And the five institutes are Statistical Research and Training, Nutrition and Food Science, Information Technology, Leather Engineering and Technology, and Education and Research Institutes.
The admission test results are available on university website admission.eis.du.ac.bd. It can also be checked by sending SMS ‘DU Ka to 16321.
Successful candidates have to choose subjects through the admission website from July 6 to July 21.
Successful candidates who applied with quota will have collect adjacent form of quota from dean’s office of the Pharmacy Faculty and fill-up the form between July 17 and 24. For reexamining the examination script, candidates have to deposit Tk 1,000 as fees with dean of Pharmacy Faculty between July and July 21.
