1 killed, 2 missing in cargo aircraft crash

A private cargo aircraft has been crashed in Bay of Bengal, leaving one person dead and two others missing. The deceased was identified as Gufared, 40, a Ukrainian national, who was working as the flight engineer of the aircraft. The incident happened at Naziratek point in Cox`s Bazar around 9:30am on Wednesday. Sadhon Kumar Mohonto, manager of Cox`s bazar airport, said `the two airways` cargo was used to transport shrimp fry. The cargo was crashed at Nazirtek point in the Bay of Bengal while flying to Jessore from Cox`s bazaar airport, leaving 4 people missing. Later police rescued 2 people and took them to Cox`s Bazar hospital. Gufared, who was one of the rescued, died on way to hospital.
