UNB, Chuadanga :
Members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) arrested a man along with two pounds of venom of cobra worth Tk12 crore from Nilmaniganj Bazar of sadar upazila recently.The arrestee was identified as Sohel, 40, son of late Harun Mandal, a resident of Boalmari village of the upazila. A team of BGB launched a raid on a rice warehouse at Nilmaniganj Bazar in the afternoon, said Director of Chuadanga-6 BGB battalion Amir Majid.
The BGB team found a container loaded with two pounds of cobra venom, the value of which would be Tk12 crore, and seized the item, Majid added.
They also arrested Sohel.
