Members of Bangladesh Coast Guard in a drive recovered 1.20 lakh Yaba tablets from Noyapara area in Shah Porir Dwip of Teknaf upazila in Cox’s Bazar district on Monday.
Tipped off, a team of coast guard (east zone) conducted a drive in the area and chased two suspected drug peddlers.
At one stage, the two men fled the scene leaving behind two polythene bags.
Later, the team members recovered the Yaba pills worth Tk 6 crore from the bags, said a press release.
