The zonal phase of the Meizan Fortified Palm Olein Inter-District and National Kabaddi Championship began Thursday in Satkhira and Dinajpur venues.
In Satkhira, hosts Satkhira DSA beat Bagerhat DSA by 39-12 points with three lonas in the day’s first match while Khulna DSA outplayed Jhenaidah DSA by 44-11 points, also with three lonas in the day’s other match.
In Dinajpur, hosts Dinajpur DSA defeated Panchagarh DSA by 33-23 points with one lona in the day’s lone match.
