Zimbabwe National Cricket team will arrive in the city tomorrow instead of today.
Senior Media Manger of BCB Rabeed Imam said to this Reporter on Tuesday, ” Zimbabwe team will reach in the city on Thursday at 11.00 pm.”
Zimbabwe team will arrive in the city to take part in the Tri-Nation ODI series. Hosts Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Zimbabwe will compete in the Tri-Nation series at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in the city’s Mirpur.
Before the Tri-Nation ODI series, Zimbabwe will face BCB XI in a practice one-dayer match at the BKSP Ground in Savar on January 13.
Meanwhile, Bowling Coach of Zimbabwe Makhaya Ntini was stepped down from his post by Zimbabwe Cricket before the Tri-Nation series.
Zimbabwe Cricket has included Brondon Taylor, Brendon Mayutu, Tendai Chisoro, Kyle Jarvis, Ryan Murray, Blessing Muzarabani in their ODI squad, while Zimbabwe Cricket dropped Terisai Masakadza, Richard Nigarava, Donald Tripano, Ryan Buri, Chamu Chibhabha, Cari Mumba and Sean Williams from their squad.
