AP, Khulna :
Zimbabwe left-arm fast bowler Brian Vitori has been reported for a suspect bowling action during the third T20 International against Bangladesh.
The visitors won the match by 31 runs in Khulna on Wednesday to reduce Bangladesh’s lead to 2-1 in the four-game series.
The match officials’ report, which was handed over to the Zimbabwe management team after the match, cited concerns about the legality of the 25-year-old’s deliveries, the ICC said.
Vitori has so far played all three matches but has yet to claim any wickets.
His bowling action will now be scrutinized further under the ICC process relating to suspected illegal bowling actions reported in tests, ODIs and T20Is.
Vitori is required to undergo testing within 14 days, and during this period he is permitted to continue bowling until the results of the testing are known.
Zimbabwe aims to level the series by winning the fourth and final match on Friday.
