BNP on Thursday worked out a 14-day programme to observe the 34th death anniversary of its founder Ziaur Rahman.
The observance of Zia’s death anniversary will begin on May 28 and end on June 10. The programmes were finalised at a joint meeting of the party held at its Nayapaltan central office with BNP joint secretary general M Shahjahan in the chair.
After the meeting, Shahjahan said the programmes include holding discussions, wearing black badges, publishing posters and supplements in newspapers and distributing food among the destitute.
