Khalilur Rahman, younger brother of BNP founder late president Ziaur Rahman, passed away in the USA on Sunday.
Khalilur breathed his last while undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Washington around 7am (BST), BNP chairperson’s media wing member Sayrul Kabir Khan told UNB.
He left behind three daughters and a host of relatives and well-wishers to mourn his death.
Khalilur will be buried at a graveyard in Washington, Sayrul added.
