Joint General Secretary of Bangladesh Awami league Mahbubul Alam Hanif said Ziaur Rahman was not a freedom fighter rather a Pak agent.
He disclosed it while addressing the inaugural ceremony of weeklong Muktijudder Bijoy Mela at Raozan University College ground in North Chittagong on Saturday evening as Chief Guest.
In his inaugural speech on the Bijoy Mela Mancha by hoisting national flag and Bijoy flag said country was not achieved independence with the whistle of any Major but it achieved with the sacrifices of 30 lakh people during liberation war.
The chief guest on the occasion also said BNP – Jamaat are the agents of Pakistan and they worked for fulfillment of the dreams of Pak regime.People irrespective of caste and creed should come forward to save the country from hands of these pak agents, he added.
He said the slogan of Independence was planted by the father of the nation Bangabandhu in 1949 and he imprisoned about 14 years in jail for the cause of independence movement.
Chairman of the Parliamentary standing committee on Rail Communication ministry ABM Fazle Karim chowdhury MP presided over the inaugural ceremony of the fair.
President of Ctg North district unit of AL Nurul Alam Chowdhury, General Secretary MA Salam, Chairman of Raozan Upazila Parishad Ehsanul Haider Chowdhury Babul, young political personality Faraz Karim Chowdhury spoke in it as special guests.
Police superof Chittagong Nure Alam Mina, Upazla Nirbahi Officer of Raozan Md. Shamim Hossain and Asstt. Super of Police Lutfur Rahman were also present in it.
Legislator ABM Fazle Karim chowdhury in his address as chairperson of the inaugural function said Roazan has been decorated colourfully with the dreams of Bangabandhu and now Raozan is the role model of Digital Bangladesh of Prime Minister.
He said Raozan is the non-communal upazila of Bangladesh. Local jubo league leader Ahsan Habib Chowdhury and Adv Mili chowdhury conducted the function of inauguration, a correspondent of Raozan Mir Alam sources said.
