Information Minister Hasanul Haq Inu said General Ziaur Rahman was the protector of the killers of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and the four national leaders.
“When the whole nation demands punishment of the killers of the four national leaders, BNP and its chairperson Khaleda Zia remain silent,” said Inu while talking to reporters after a view exchange meeting with his party leaders and activists at Kushtia Circuit House on Friday. Inu, also the president of Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal (JASOD), said this silence over the killings proves that Khaleda Zia and BNP are the direct supporters of killings, illegal power capture and military rule. “BNP’s silence about the assassination of the four national leaders has proved that the party and its chief Khaleda Zia are threat to politics”, he added.
JSD district unit president Golam Mohsin, Kushtia Press Club president Abdur Rashid Chowdhury, leaders and activists of JSD and its front organisations, were, among others present.
