In the 8th round games, GM Reefat beat GM Saptarshi Roy Chowdhury of India, GM Zia lost to GM Nguyen Duc Hoa of Vietnam, GM Niaz lost to Thanki Hemal Karsanji of India, Fahad beat Sonkalan Bharati of India, FM Mahfuz drew with Shah Rishab of India, Jewel split point with Aryan Ranjan of India, Mezan lost to Mohite Ranveer of India, Jamal beat Falgun D Purohit of India, Shahnaz lost to Uthal H L Rajath of India, Sheraj lost to Mohammed Shamil of India, Dihan lost to Abhinav Chandra Kodali of India, Hasan lost to Aagam Aditya of India, Neer lost to Ghelani Dhairya of India, Nagis lost to Maharjan Dipak of India and Raju drew with Pasalkar Onkar of India.
