GM Ziaur Rahman of Dhaka Mohammedan Sporting Club Limited lost to 2661 rated Ukraine GM Areshchenko Alexander and secured 3.5 points after the 6th round games of the Alain Classical Chess Tournament now being held in Alain in United Arab Emirates.
In the 6th round games held on Tuesday, Zia lost with 2661 rated Ukraine GM Areshchenko Alexander.
A total 150 players including 43 grandmasters, 9 women grandmasters and 14 International Masters from 27 countries participated in the event.
