In 2008, promising singer of present time Zanita Ahmed Zhilik rendered two songs under the composition of Ekushey Award winner recently demised noted singer Subir Nandi. That year Zhilik released her debut album titled Aamar Ki Dosh. In that album, Subir Nandi composed two songs – Shabnam Islam written Jhornar Pani and Kabir Bakul written song Akasher Baire.
Few months ago, Subir Nandi composed a new song for Zhilik. Title of the song is Chander Soney Man Korechhi which lyrics are written by Mahmud Murad. Ujjal Sinha has arranged its music. Already its music video has been made. Zhilik informed that this video song will be released in a YouTube channel on the occasion of coming Eid.
Zhilik said, “Subir Nandi Sir is one of the greatest singers of our country. His earlier deceased is a great loss for us. It is also loss for music arena. Sir admired me a lot. It was a great luck for me to compose music of two songs of my first album by Sir. These two songs will remain ornaments of my music career. Before death Sir composed a song for me which I have finished. I hope this song will also remain memorable for me. It will inspire me rest of my life.”
