State Minister for Home Asaduzzaman Khan on Wednesday warned that stern action will be taken against those who will create anarchy during the hartal called by Jamaat-e-Islami.
“Law enforcers will remain alert to protect public life and property. Stern action will be taken against the troublemakers during the hartal,” the state minister told UNB.
He said, additional police and RAB forces will be deployed across the country to check anarchic activities. “Besides, members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) will also be kept ready. BGB members will be deployed, if necessary.
