Controversial film actor Zayed Khan allegedly took out a pistol and
threatened to shoot fellow senior actor Omar Sani at the post-wedding
reception of noted actor and producer Monowar Hossain Dipjol’s son. However, denying the allegation Zayed Khan while speaking with
the media, termed the matter as
a ‘baseless news.’
But some of the presented guests at the wedding ceremony held at Bashundhara Convention Centre in the capital on Friday night said that Zayed Khan had misbehaved with popular film actress Moushumi a few days ago. That is why as soon as he entered the event. Omar Sani first slapped Zayed Khan as he had earlier ‘disrespected and insulted’ his wife, Moushumi. This incident later went out of hand. After that Zayed Khan threatened Sani with a gun, claimed Omar Sani.
Meanwhile, denying Omar Sani’s allegations, Zayed Khan said, “No such incident has happened there, they are making up rumours because the elections are near. How can a gun be taken to such a secure venue?” While communicated with Omar Sani in this regard he said, “The incident is true. Zayed is a bad, bad man.”
When contacted for comments by the media, actor Dipjol, however, also denied the reports related to the incident. He said, “This is completely false and baseless news. It is very unfortunate that the reports came out without verifying the truth about the actual incident. The things that are being said did not happen at all. Is it that easy that anyone will show up at a wedding event with a gun! Everyone was checked before entering the venue. I was present there the whole time and whatever has been revealed or reported about this, is totally baseless.”
