Today is birthday of National Film Award winner actress Zakia Bari Mamo. Though she has no specific plan regarding her birthday Mamo will go to her mother’s house in the morning who is living in the capital’s Elephant Road area. There she will stay with own way.
While talking in this regard Mamo told this correspondent, “My birthday is not only a special day for me but also for my mother. Because she became mother on this day so I want to pass this day with her. Later what I will do yet not fixed.”
Mamo expects that many surprising things can be happened on this day. “Allah gave me a nice life. For my parents I have seen this world. Everybody prays for me and also for my parents as we remain well,” she added.
In the beginning of her career, Mamo got the National Film Award for acting in Tauquir Ahmed’s Daruchini Dwip. But during that time she could enjoyed that moment. Now she became matured. Now she can understand the meaning of recognition of the award. So, she expects to get it again after working in good movies. As a part of its continuation, she is acting in some challenging works. Alta is such a challenging role of Arun Chowdhury’s first movie Altabanu. Besides it, she also finished shooting of Tanim Rahman Angshu’s movie Swapnobari recently. Anisur Rahman Milon was her co-actor in these movies. Mamo has already crossed one decade in her acting career.
