Zakaria Solaiman, a second year student of the Department of Islamic History and Hasib Hasan, a first year student of the Department of Philosophy emerged the joint-champions of the Annual Sports Competition of Muktijoddha Ziaur Rahman Hall of Dhaka University (DU) on Tuesday.
Besides, Kazi Mehedi Al Amin, a Masters student of the Department of Law became runner-up in this competition. The Annual Sports Competition was held at the central playground of DU.
Vice-Chancellor of Dhaka University Professor Dr AAMS Arefin Siddique inaugurated the competition in the morning as the chief guest.
Later, Pro-Vice Chancellor (Administration) of DU Professor Dr Shahid Akhtar Hossain distributed the prizes among the winners. Provost of the Muktijoddha Ziaur Rahman Hall Professor Dr ABM Faroque was also present on this occasion.
