Additional Principal Information Officer of Press Information Department Md Zainal Abedin and senior Information Officer of Housing and Public Works Ministry SM Golam Kibria has been elected President and Secretary General respectively in the BCS Information Association polls for 2015-16 tenure.The result was announced on Friday
The other officer bearers are Sachindra Nath Haldar and AM Motahar Hossain (Vice-Presidents), Faizul Haque and AKM Azizul Haque (Joint-Secretary Generals), Md Abdul Jalil (Treasurer), Md Shahedur Rahman (Inter-service Secretary), Md Maminul Haque (Publicity, Publication and Training Affairs Secretary), Pranab Bhattacharyay (Welfare, Sports and Culture Affairs Secretary) and Tasir Ahmed (Office Secretary).
The executive members are Tasir Ahmed, AKM Shamim Chowdhury, Mohammad Istak Hossain, Ferdousy Begum, Mohammad Fakhrul Islam, Sufi Abdullah Maruf and Sheikh Walid.
