In the beginning of New Year, viewers’ choice popular actor and director Zahid Hasan is coming with a new serial for the viewers. Title of the serial is Raju 420. Zakir Hossain Ujjal wrote story where Zahid Hasan played the title role in the serial.
At the end of last year Zahid Hasan also presented with his another new serial titled Vagabond, which is being aired on Banglavision now. Already Zahid is getting positive response for this serial. But he is very much optimistic about the serial Raju 420.
While talking about his new serial Zahid told this correspondent, “Raju is a simple person who loves to come forward for anybody who faces crises. There are some wicked persons in the society by whom Raju is a dissent person. Raju is the reflection of our society. He is also a cheat. But he has an exceptional way for cheating which he applies for bad persons. He identifies the persons of the society and collects a large amount of money from them. I have tried my level best to portray my role and I also changed my get-up while acting in that character. I am very much optimistic about the serial.”
Zahid Hasan also informed that Raju 420 will be aired from today on ATN Bangla. It will be aired every Saturday, Sunday and Monday at 10:55pm.
Meanwhile, in the beginning of New Year Zahid performed as a model in a TVC of a multinational company’s fan under Roni Bhowmik’s direction. Dilara Zaman, Chanchal Chowdhury and Farhana Mili also performed with him in the TVC.
More than two eras Zahid started his acting career through Abdul Latif Bachchu directed movie Boloban.
After a long time break, he acted against late heroine Shyama in movie Jibon Shongi, which was released in 1996. His acted other mentionable movies are Bihongo, Srabon Megh-er Din, Shonkhonad, Jhontu Montu Dui Bhai, Made In Bangladesh, Aamar Achhey Jol, Projapoti. He got the National Film Award for acting in Humayun Ahmed’s Srabon Megh-er Din in 1999.
Zahid acted first TV play was Alimuzzaman produced Jibon Jemon. In 1999, he first gave direction of play under own production house, Pushpita Visuals. His directed first play was Anyo Tepantor.
