Entertainment Report :After a break of more than one year, popular TV actress Tarin has acted against popular actor Zahid Hasan in a TV play. Directed by Zahid Hasan under the story written by Faruk Hossain they performed together in a play titled Counter Attack, which is scheduled to be telecast tonight on Banglavision at 11:55pm. While talking about the play its director and actor Zahid Hasan told this correspondent, “Story of the play is absolutely non-conventional. After a break of one year I have worked with Tarin. Overall the play became nice. I think viewers will enjoy the play.”Tarin shared her feelings by this way, “I can’t get the scope to work with Zahid Hasan most of the time. I have worked very comfortably in the play because Zahid Bhai not only gave the direction of the play but also acted in it. Therefore, story of the play was nice. I believe that it will be a nice play to watch by the viewers during Eid festival.”It may be mentioned that Zahid Hasan and Tarin first acted together in Arun Chowdhury’s a play titled Andhoshikari. Later they had worked together in several good plays. They last acted together in last year’s Eid-ul-Fitr’s serial titled Sangrila under the direction of Shahiduzzaman Selim. However, October 4 was birthday of Zahid Hasan. He was in Dhaka during that time. His directed four plays-telefilms were telecast in the Eid festival.
