Popular actor Zahid Hasan and versatile actress Sohana Saba shared the screen for an Eid drama titled Robot Jakir Khan. Anjan Aich has written its story and script while he has also given its direction. Saba and Zahid performed their level best to entertain the viewers, according to director Anjan Aich. Shooting of the play was done in different locations in the capital’s Uttara area recently.
While talking about acting in the play Zahid Hasan said, “If I like the story and my role then I agree to work in play or telefilm. I always try to work honestly. When viewers show their positive response after telecasting my-starred work then I feel good because only for them I am today’s Zahid Hasan. I have liked the story and role of Anjan Aich’s Robot Jakir Khan. As my co-actress, Saba acted well.”
Sohana Saba shared her feelings by this way, “Story of the play was interesting. The work was done nicely without any hassle. I and Zahid Bhai really enjoyed the times during shooting. I have tried my level best to portray my role properly. I believe viewers will enjoy the drama in Eid.”
Meanwhile, Zahid Hasan also informed that he has already finished shooting of Sraboni Ferdous’ Amio Manush, Sheikh Selim’s Samchu Bhai Songrami Hote Chai, Sagor Jahan’s Heavyweight Mizan, Abu Hayat Mahmud’s Hojoborolo and own directed several numbers of works on the occasion of coming Eid.
On the other hand, Sohana Saba also mentioned that Saba-starred movie Epar Opar is expected to release in Kolkata in August. Haranath Chakraborty gave direction of this film. In 2006, Saba first acted in Kobori-directed movie Ayna. Later she acted in movies Brihonnola, Khelaghor, Priyotomeshu and Chandragrohon.
In Kolkata, Saba first acted in Ayon Chakraborty’s movie Shororipu.
