Zafrullah’s condition unchanged

The health condition of Gonoshasthaya Kendra founder Dr Zafrullah Chowdhury, who has been diagnosed with coronavirus, remained unchanged on Sunday.
Gonoshasthaya Kendra Public Relations Officer Forhad Hossain said,
Zafrullah has been given oxygen support as he has breathing problem. “But his condition is stable and he himself took the breakfast on Sunday morning.”
He said, the Gonoshasthaya Kendra founder is also talking to doctors and others when it is necessary.
In a post on its verified Facebook page on Saturday night, Gonoshasthaya Kendra said, Dr. Zafrullah Chowdhury’s physical condition has improved but he is not yet completely risk free. He was given dialysis and plasma therapy on Friday (June 6) night. Dialysis was also given again on Saturday. Oxygen support is needed for keeping his breathing normal.
The condition of the Gonoshasthaya Kendra founder deteriorated slightly on Thursday night.
He has been receiving treatment at Gonoshasthaya Nagar Hospital in the capital under the supervision of Brigadier Dr Mamun Mustafiz and Prof Dr Najib.
Dr Zafrullah was diagnosed with coronavirus after being tested with the kit developed by Gonoshasthaya Kendra on May 25.
