A young man got one of his wrists blown off in an explosion reportedly while making bombs at Mohishakura village in Sharsha upazila on Friday noon.
The injured was identified as Ashanur, 22, son of Abdur Rashid of the village. Officer-in-charge of Sharsha Police Station Moniruzzaman said the explosion took place
around 12 noon while Ashanur was making bombs at his house. The blast blew his left wrist off.
On information, police rushed in, arrested him and admitted him to Jessore 250-bedded Hospital under their custody, he said. Police also recovered a bomb, bomb-making materials and a foreign pistol from his house. A case was filed in this connection.
