Information Minister Hasanul Haq Inu has urged the young entrepreneurs to make the best use of IT and ICT to become successful in their drives through innovations and new ideas.
He also suggested the young generation to be cautious about cyber terrorism and its bad impact on their bright future.
“For a new entrepreneur, running a business is a great challenge. But a real entrepreneurial quality is to struggle and make his business successful,” Inu told a global entrepreneurs’ summit’ at city’s Krishibid Institution Auditorium on Friday.
Dhrubotara Youth Development Foundation (DYDF) in partnership with
Dhaka Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCI) organised the summit, said a DCCI press release on Saturday.
DCCI President Hossain Khaled said global youth population is 1.8 billion who can bring about a huge demographic dividend to the world.
There are 55 million people in Bangladesh who are aged between 15 and 34, he said adding that if the young generation could be encouraged to be self-employed, they will be able to bring about a significant change in the economy through investment and creating jobs for others.
DCCI director Atique-e-Rabbani, Sameer Sattar, S Rumi Saifullah, former director Major (retd) Yead Ali Fakir, Alhaj Abdul Aziz Sarker, secretary general AHM Rezaul Kabir, E2K consultant Kazi Shafiqur Rahman were, among others, present.
