Police recovered throat-slit body of an unidentified young man stuffed in a suitcase from Kuripara area in Bandar upazila on Saturday morning.
Nazrul Islam, officer-in-charge of Bandar Police Station, said local people spotted the suitcase beside a street in the area in the morning and informed police.
Police rushed to the spot and opened the suitcase.
They recovered the body of an unidentified young man, aged around 30, with the throat slashed from the suitcase.
The body was sent to 100-Bed Narayanganj General Hospital morgue for an autopsy. Police suspected that the young man might have been killed at some time on Friday night.
