Rapid Action Battalion (RAB-51) in Cox’s Bazaar raided the bus terminal area of the town and arrested drug dealers about 10,000 on Sunday .
RAB-15 said in a mail report that the secret news they learned that some drug dealers were in the bus terminal of Cox’s Bazar on Sunday for the purpose of selling drugs.
According to the news, the son of Abdul Gafur, of Katakhali Ghonarpara, Teknaf, launched a raid on 20th October at 11.15 am and Md. Mehdi Hasan (21) was arrested.
Subsequently, a total of 9,580 Yaba tablets were recovered by searching the market bag held by the accused in front of the witnesses.
Whose market value is estimated at Taka 47 lakh 90 thousand. RAB-15 also said that the arrested accused and the seized goods have been handed over to Sadar Model Police Station in Cox’s Bazar District for further legal action.
