Members of river police recovered decomposed body of an unidentified young man from the Buriganga river at Kautal in South Keraniganj upazila on Friday night.
Shamsul Alam, sub-inspector of river police, said being informed by local people, police recovered the decomposed body of the young man, aged about 30, floating in the river in the night and sent it to Sir Salimullah Medical College Hospital at around 12 am. The deceased was clad in brown jeans pants and black-white shirt. Miscreants might have killed him and dumped the body in the river 4/5 days ago, said the SI.
