BSS, Satkhira :
Police recovered the body of a youth from Garhkumarpur Beel under Shamnagar upazila of the district yesterday morning.
Police sources said, the victim was identified as Mohammed Hossain Gazi, 18, son of Rafikul Islam Gazi of Borokupat village of the upazila.
Being informed, a team of police from Shamnagar thana rushed to the spot, recovered the body and sent it to Satkhira Sadar Hospital morgue.
Officer-in-charge of the thana Sagir Miah said miscreants slaughtered Hossain to death.
