Police recovered the body of a young man under the Amarkkhali Railway Bridge in Benapole port Police station recently.
The deceased was identified as Abdus Salam (35) son of Jafar Ali in Patbari village of Benapole.
Police said that locals informed the police after seeing the floating body in the water at the bottom of Amrakhali Railway Bridge in the morning. Police recovered the body from the spot and sent it to Jessore General Hospital morgue for autopsy.
Sharshah Police Station Officer-in-Charge M. Moshiur Rahman said the police recovered the body from the spot and sent it to the morgue for autopsy. There are injuries on the body . A case has been filed with the Sharsha Police Station.
