Police recovered the body of a youth from Bazarkhali village under Amtoli upazila of the district yesterday morning.
The deceased was Adi Amin, 35, son of late Abdur Rashid, a resident of the same area.
Being informed, a team of police from Amtoli Police Station rushed to the spot and recovered the hanging body with a roof ceiling of a Cyclone Shelter Centre’s room.
Later, the body was sent to Sadar hospital morgue.
“We are conducting investigation into the matter to know whether it is a suicide or murder case,” said Officer-in-Charge of the Police Station M Sahidulla.
