Police recovered the body of an unidentified youth in capital’s Motijheel on Friday morning.
Details about the deceased, age around 24, could not be known yet.
Sujan Kumar, sub-inspector (SI) of Motijheel police station, said locals spotted the body of a young man lying on the road in front of Motijheel City Center and informed the police station.
Later, on information police recovered the body of the youth from there and sent to the morgue of Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) morgue for autopsy.
He added that it is believed that the young man might have committed suicide by jumping from the city center building or someone killed him, adding that the matter is being investigated.
