Police recovered the body of a youth from the Buriganaga river near Jinjira ferryghat in Keraniganj upazila on
Tuesday. The deceased was identified as Himel,19, son of Abdul Hamid.
Police said, being informed by the local people they recovered the floating body of the youth from the river. The body was sent to Mitford Hospital morgue for autopsy.
Keraniganj model thana officer-in-charge Majibur Rahman said the youth might have been killed in a planned way.
