Both the semi-final matches of the 5th National Youth Women’s Handball competition will be held today (Monday) at Shaheed Captain M Mansur Ali Handball Stadium.
Noagaon district will take on Thakurgaon district in the day’s first semifinal at 2.30 pm while Jamalpur district meet Panchagarh district in the second semi-final at 3.30 pm.
Meanwhile in the day’s group phase matches, Thakurgaon district beat Gopalganj district by 6-5 goals after trailing the first half by 0-4 goals, Madaripur district defeated Dinajpur district by 20-1 goals after dominating the first half by 8-0 goals, Faridpur district outplayed Narail district by 12-10 goals after leading the first half by 7-6 goals, Noagaon district outclassed Jashore district by 21-1 goals after dominating the first half by 11-10 goals, Jamalpur district overpowered Dinajpur district by 40-1 goals after leading the first half by 21-0 goals, Panchagarh district crushed Narail district by 21-3 goals after dominating the first half by 10-1 goals and Thakurgaon district defeated Dhaka District Sports Association by 7-4 goals after leading the first half by 4-1 goals.
