Youth team off to Korea to attend Space Camp

A youth delegation, interested in space administration, left Dhaka for Seoul yesterday to attend the “International Space Camp-2016” scheduled from today.
Formed by Bangladesh Astronomical Society, the six-member delegation– five school students and a guide– will attend space science workshops and model rocket production there, said a press release here.
They will also visit Republic of Korea’s national science museum and Korea Aerospace Research Institute (KARI) during their stay in the space camp on July 18-22.
The student members include: Manon Mahmud of Lalmatia Housing Society School and College (Dhaka), Fardim Munir of Sir John Wilson School (Dhaka), Saad Bin Hasan Siam of Rajshahi Cadet College, Ryme Rubayet of Jewels Oxford International School and College (Sirajganj) and Sheikh Sharfuddin Reza Ali Chowdhury of Government Science College (Dhaka).
Students from Korea, Japan, Vietnam, China, Thailand and Cambodia will also attend the camp hosted by KARI, the release added.
