A young man was stabbed to death by miscreants following a dispute over sharing business money at Kazirbazar Bridge in the city on Thursday.
The deceased was identified as Mohammad Ali, 30, a resident of Jagonnathpur upazila in Sunamganj district.
A group of miscreants swopped on Ali and stabbed him indiscriminately while he was passing the bridge area around 7 pm, leaving him critically injured, said sub-inspector Palash of Sylhet Osmani Medical College Hospital police camp.
