A youth was stabbed to death at City College para in Jessore town early Thursday.
The dead was identified as Sagar Hossain,26, employee of a tea stall at Jessore old bus terminal near Manihar Cinema Hall and also son of Jalal Hossain of City Collegepara, Abul Bashar, officer in-charge(investigation), Kotwali police station confirmed.
Billal Hossain, brother of the dead and Suma Kahtun, sister told that the youth was stabbed to death by Murad, Furaiya Ashik and Tapos of the locality.
The miscreants stabbed him near his residence following previous rivalry in the afternoon and died at around 2am on Thursday on way to Khulna Medical College Hospital. He was, earlier, rushed to Jessore General Hospital.
The Kotwali police official told the police were searching the miscreants.
