A garment worker was stabbed to death in Dhaka’s Pallabi area on Friday night.
The deceased was identified as Ripon (26).
Kazi Wazed Ali, Officer-in-Charge of Pallabi Police Station, on Saturday said that unknown persons stabbed the man in Mirpur-11 area, leaving him critically injured.
A woman named Parveen took him to Dhaka Medical College Hospital around 11:00pm where doctors declared him dead, police said.
The OC said they are trying to gather the details about the incident and to arrest the killers.
Victim’s brother Ekramul Haque said that Ripon used to live in Karwanbazar area. He said he had no knowledge of his enmity with anyone.
The body was kept at DMCH mortuary for autopsy.
