Chattogram Bureau :
A young man was stabbed to death allegedly by his rivals in Mohra Kamal Bazar area under Chandgaon Police Station in the port city on Monday night.
The deceased was identified as Mohammad Arafat, 19, son of Mohamamd Hossain and was a shipyard worker.
Abul Bashar, officer-in-charge of Changaon Police Station, said a gang of miscreants attacked Arafat around 7:45 pm and stabbed on his neck and shoulder, leaving him critically injured.
Later, the injured was taken to Chattogram Medical College Hospital where doctors declared him dead.Arafat had a previous enmity with an owner of a local Gym, said the OC adding that he might have been killed over the issue.
