Police recovered the body of a young man from a jute field at Pipulbaria village in Sadar upazila on Friday morning.
The deceased was identified as Sangram, 30, son of Akther Hossain of the same village.
On information, police recovered the body from the jute field around 10 am and sent it to Sirajganj Sadar hospital’s morgue for autopsy, said officer -in- charge of Sirajganj Sadar Police Station Mohammad Daud.
Sangram’s body bore several stab injury marks, the OC added.
A case was filed in this regard.
