A youth was shot dead at Krishnapur village filed on Saturday night under Moheshpur upazila of the district.
The deceased was identified as Arsed Ali, 30 son Abdul Jabbar of Camppara area in Moheshpur upazila town.
Moheshpur police station officer (OC) Shahidul Islam Shahin said, on Sunday morning at around 7-30 am some locals found a body lying on the village field. They informed the police.
On information police reached the spot and recovered the body. He bore marks of bullets on his forehead and chest. The terrorists might shot him dead and left the body.
He was an accused of several cases including with robbery and arms act with Moheshpur police station. Police could not find any clue of his murder, the OC added.
