A teenager was killed and two of his brothers were injured after their cousin stabbed them at their house in the city’s Uttarkhan area on Monday night.
The deceased is Riad Hossain, 15, while the injured are Riad’s brothers Shamim Hossain, 25, and Rizwan Hossain, 18. They are all sons of Raju Miah, said Inspector Bacchu Miah, In-charge of Dhaka Medical College Hospital Police outpost. The incident took place in the area around 11:00pm when Swapan stabbed his three cousins following a conflict with them.
Riad, 15, was admitted to Intensive Care Unit of Dhaka Medical College Hospital in a critical condition where he succumbed at 11:00am on Tuesday, the police official said.
Swapan lives in the same building with Raju Miah.
