One youth was killed cutting on Rail line of a Shuttle Train of Rangpur Express which was running towards Kaunia from Kurigram.The pathetic accident took place near Dinobazar and eastern side of Dhatmari Bridge under Rajarhat upazila in Kurighram at 8.00 pm on Tuesday and was buried at 9.00 am on Wednesday.
The deceased was identified as Rashedul Islam 15 son of Mazibar Rahman of village Bajay Mujrai (Dinobazar) under Chakirpashar union of Rajarhat upazila. He works in a bicycle mechanics shop.Local sources said after participation at the end of marriage ceremony of his cousin he sat on the Rail line and was watching game in his mobile phone setting a head phone. At that time Shuttle Train of Rangpur Express which was running towards Kaunia from Kurigram cut him.
Officer-in-charge of Rajarhat police station Raju Sarkar admitted the incident and told that the house of the youth near the Rail Line. He was playing game in his mobile.
He cut in the Train as he was not conscious.Humayun Kabir a trader and his neighbor told this correspondent that he was buried in his family graveyard at around 9am on Wednesday.
