A young man was killed and 20 injured in a clash between two rival groups at Abdullahpur Bazar in Austrogram upazila of the district on Saterday afternoon (5 P.M) over land dispute and supremacy.
The victim had been identified as Jialal Miah (33) son of Md. Idris Ali in Abdullahpur under Austrogram upazila.
The injured people were admitted to Austrogram Health Complex and Zahurul Islam Medical College Hospital.
On information police rushed the spot and recovered the body. The dead body sent Kishoreganj morgue for autopsy.
A murder case was filed in connection with Austrogram Police Station.
